COURSE OBJECTIVE
To present the concepts, terminology, and material covered on the PMP
certification exam. You will learn essential project management standard
skills and knowledge needed to pass the PMP exam, while working with real
world examples. You will learn test taking strategies and other preparation
techniques.
The course is based on the PMBOK® 3rd Edition published by the Project Management Institute (PMI®).
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This intensive course provides 4 days of classroom instruction. Instruction is
designed to quickly and efficiently give you information, skills, strategies, and techniques to lead to successful preparation for your certification exam. This includes practice exams, facilitated classroom discussions, and individualized student/instructor interaction.
CLASSROOM STRATEGY:
Baseline Exams: A daily test to evaluate knowledge accumulated to date from previous day’s instruction.
MODULE EXAM:
A daily exam on modules covered for that day.

A 4-hour PMP style simulated exam on the complete course material (all

COURSE CONTENTS
The course is made up of 11 modules. Introduction & Integration Management
Introduction to Project Management, management processes, organizational
structures, PM skills, and the nine knowledge areas. Integrating the processes
and activities needed to identify, define, combine, unify, and coordinate the
various processes and Project Management activities, within the Project
Management Process Groups.
PROJECT SCOPE MANAGEMENT
Project Scope Management includes all of the processes that are required to
ensure that the project is completed successfully. Identifying and managing Stakeholders and gathering project requirements. Creating the Project Scope Statement based on the Project Charter and Preliminary Scope Statement.
Developing a Scope Management Plan Use of the decomposition technique to break down the problem statement into smaller more manageable delivery components.
