COURSE OBJECTIVE
This course prepares a Project Manager to learn skills in managing a project using generally accepted best practices based on PMI’s PMBOK standards.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course emphasizes a structured approach to project management to ensure a well-planned project whose scope is managed, risks assessed and mitigated. This course is aligned with the processes described in Project Management Institute’s A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge. At the conclusion of the course, participants will understand the concepts of the project life cycle, statement of work, work breakdown structure, project schedule, cost budgeting, and risk management plan.
